Halloween is right around the corner! As you’re thinking about different costumes for the big day, consider showcasing a very important body part: Your ears!
Cat, dog, bear, rabbit, mouse, etc.: A sound-focused mammal with distinctive ears, such as a cat, dog, bear, or mouse, can be a fun and easy Halloween costume. Wear animal ears on a headband or stick to bobby pins for a versatile look.
Elf, fairy, or magical creature: Pointy ears are chic and the finishing touch to any woodland creature-type costume.
Round out your ear-tastic Halloween with a creepy treat that looks like earwax on a cotton swab! (Just a reminder to not use cotton swabs in your ears).
You’ll need:
- 40 3-inch lollipop sticks
- 1/2 cup butterscotch chips
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
- Place a marshmallow on either end of each lollipop stick
- Melt the butterscotch chips and peanut butter in the microwave by heating in 15-second increments, stirring, and heating for 15 more seconds until mixture is melted
- Let butterscotch peanut butter mixture sit for 5 minutes
- Dip the ends of each marshmallow in a little of the butterscotch peanut butter mixture, allowing it to run down the sides. Enjoy!
