Nursing

Our nursing department is staffed with a complete collection of LPNs, MAs and EMTs. They will assist in all aspects of the visit, including any history, vital signs, special testing, prescriptions, and check out. They will generally be in the room with the doctor, and assure all needs are met for the patient. They will also prepare the patient for any procedures.

 

We answer all phone messages and emails sent on a daily basis as time allows. Normally we are able to fill requests and medication needs within the same day. Some requests, like general or specific questions, or requests to be seen by the doctor, will necessitate a conference with your physician. If your doctor’s schedule is full, or is not in the office we will try to accommodate you as best as possible.

 

Several nurses are also certified for IPL, intense pulsed light therapy for skin and hair treatment. You can ask to see them separately, or at any time during your visit. The fee schedule is dictated by State law, and is available on request.

 

Medical Records

Medical records are available to both physicians, and to patients. Any requested records will be sent the same day when requested by a physician.

 

Any records requested by nonphysicians (including patients) will be processed and sent via mail on Fridays. All legal and personal requests for records have a processing fee depending on the size of the chart, and number of copies necessary. The fee schedule is available on request.

Office

We are organized to provide the physicians and our patients with a smooth and efficient office experience. Our office manager, Rosalin Millan, has been with us for over 12 years, and can help resolve any matters with regards to our office procedures. This includes updating patient data, obtaining initial referrals from the primary doctor, processing the visit and co pays, and making any appointments for future visits or testing.

 

 

Financial Services

Our Financial Services section includes Jamaris, Mary Ellen, Judy, Rosie, and Laura. They can be reached anytime during business hours.

 

Insurance

They will assist in processing your insurance claim on your behalf. Any co pays, coinsurance, or deductibles will be collected at your office visit, and any residual balance, including noncovered items will be directly billed to you.

 

If any insurance or address changes are made, please notify us as soon as possible. This will help you process your claim quickly, and avoid unnecessary bills.
