According to a recent study by Swiss market research and strategy consulting company, Zehnvier, yes, it can!

The survey asked more than 4,300 people in the United States, Germany, France, Switzerland, and Great Britain diverse about topics related to hearing and quality of life. What they found was not only does hearing positively affect personal relationships by aiding communication, people who use hearing aids have less stress, greater levels of concentration, and more active lifestyles than those who are hearing impaired but don’t use an aid.

Of the people who took part in the survey, 56% believed their hearing aid was a worthwhile purchase, and 78% said they spend more time with friends since they started using an aid.

Far from being shy about using a hearing helper, 77% have experienced positive reactions from others about their hearing aid use, 86% say their friends accept them exactly the way they are, and 81% of people whose partners use hearing aids reported being glad that their partner wears an aid.

Perhaps the most telling statistic, however, is that 83% of the surveyed population said that their improved hearing also improved their quality of life. That’s huge!

So, if you’re been thinking of joining those 83%, but have been holding off, it may be time to give us a call and schedule an appointment for a hearing test. Improve your personal life, improve your quality of life.
